Privacy & map terms

Updated October 10, 2026

Early access

If you join our launch list, we store your email address, consent, and signup time privately for the Sportsitting owners. We use them for the launch update you request, not a confirmed booking. No launch alerts are sent at signup. Save your private removal link to delete your signup, or contact us below. We use hashed network identifiers to limit misuse.

Your locations

Address searches are sent to Photon. When you select a result, its coordinates and your selected session time are sent through our server to Google Maps to estimate driving time. Our private starting address stays on the server. Location selections are not published. When you submit a session request, we store the locations with your request.

The map uses OpenStreetMap tiles. These providers receive the information needed to answer requests, including network information. See Google’s Privacy Policy and OpenStreetMap’s Privacy Policy.

Your session request

The request button saves your contact details, session date and time, locations, and notes privately for the Sportsitting owners to review. Owners can approve or decline requests. Your private status link lets anyone holding that link view the session details and decision; keep it private. Please share only what is needed to arrange care; discuss sensitive information directly. Hosting and mapping providers may retain technical logs under their policies. We use request counts and hashed network identifiers to limit misuse. Owners can opt in to device alerts; we store their push subscriptions and send a notification through their browser provider when a request arrives. Notifications do not contain the parent’s contact details or addresses.

Using the coverage check

Driving estimates can change with traffic and are not a guarantee of availability, pickup time, or a confirmed booking. We confirm every session and its final price directly. Google Maps features are subject to the Google Maps Additional Terms of Service and Google Terms of Service.
